Bursary Scholarships

We are pleased to announce a Bursary Scholarship to assist underfunded Indigenous mental health and community workers to attend the Indigenous Suicide Prevention Forum.

Who can Apply?

As funds are limited, priority will be given to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander applicants from smaller Indigenous not for profits. Bursary scholarships will primarily cover full or partial conference registration, with limited opportunities for travel/accommodation pending event sponsorship.

How to Apply?

To apply, please ensure you have the following details ready:


• Name, Job Title and Organisation
• Why you’re applying for the Bursary Scholarship and how it will help you

• Indicate if you require travel or accommodation assistance

• Indicate if you are youth (25 or under) and if you would like a role at the forum (eg. Ushering Elders, helping with onsite registrations, assisting the cultural safety team)

Applications close on 4 February 2025

Once applications have been reviewed by the AIPA Forum Committee, successful candidates will be notified by email.
