Jess Regan
Social and Emotional Wellbeing Coordinator
Waminda
Jesse Regan is a proud Wiradjuri woman living on the lands and waterways of the Jerrinja, Wodi Wodi, and Wandi Wandian peoples of the Yuin Nation on the South Coast of NSW. Her career has been dedicated to the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander suicide prevention and social and emotional wellbeing (SEWB) space. Jesse holds a Bachelor of Psychological Science with a major in Indigenous Studies, and her work spans research, crisis support, community work and counselling.
Jesse is passionate about bringing culturally grounded, community-led approaches to suicide prevention to the forefront. In her current role at Waminda as SEWB Network Coordinator, she works with community and government organisations to improve access to culturally safe and responsive mental health and suicide prevention services.
