Keith Brandy is a proud Wiradjuri man originally from central NSW and has spent the last 45 years working in Aboriginal Affairs and the community sector in Canberra. Keith is the First Nations Trainer, based in ACT, as part of the Wesley LifeForce Suicide Prevention program within Wesley Mission and has facilitated numerous First Nations Train the Trainer Programs and First Nations Suicide Prevention workshops around the country. Keith also chairs the ACT Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Mental Health and Suicide Prevention Partnership Group which provides strategic advice to ACT government on such issues. Keith graduated as a mature aged student from the University of Wollongong in 2020 with a double major in the Bachelor of Arts Degree and accredited in Training and Assessment. Keith’s passion is in training for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities, and those related but not limited to: suicide prevention and intervention, men’s health, and social justice reform.
