Kesi-Maree Prior is a proud Bidjara and Kamilaroi woman, recipient of the 2025 WA LiFE Award for Outstanding Contribution to Suicide Prevention and Highly Commended for the National LiFE Award. As Culture Care Connect Network Coordinator for the Pilbara Aboriginal Health Alliance, she brings over 20 years of experience living and working on Kariyarra Country. A qualified youth worker with a strong background in social services and mental wellbeing, Kesi has led suicide prevention, postvention, and aftercare initiatives across the Pilbara since 2019. She is an accredited LivingWorks ASIST, I ASIST, and safeTALK trainer, committed to building capacity within community through life saving skills. Her work is grounded in cultural integrity, trauma aware practice, and inclusive community engagement creating suicide safer futures through connection, capacity, and care.
