Shannon is a Registered Psychologist, an AHPRA Board Approved Supervisor, a Member of the Australian Psychological Society, and an Aboriginal Advisory Board Member for the Department of Education WA. She is also a Director on the board of the Australian Indigenous Psychologists Association which is a recognised National Peak Body.

Shannon has over 16 years of psychological experience and expertise in trauma recovery, psychological assessment, intervention, consultation, and treatment planning for adults, families, children, and adolescents with diverse and complex needs.

As a Malgana woman, Shannon has a life-long passion to provide quality and essential psychological services to Aboriginal communities across Australia. She is the Director and Psychologist at McNeair Aboriginal Psychological Services Pty Ltd, a company that she founded in March 2023 after working for over 15 years as a Psychologist in Government.
